Day of Dogs

First of all, I would like to publicly shame Rob and myself.  For years we have been giving Chelsea a bath outside with the hose.  When she stays at Camp Casler, we found out that my parents give her a bath with warm water, and we thought this was ridiculous.  As we explained to them, Chelsea willingly runs into the freezing cold ocean, so clearly the cold water doesn’t bother her.  Then we found out our friends Anne and Walt give their dogs baths with warm water and we started to feel guilty.  So this weekend we went to our local pet store where they have a ‘wash your own pet’ room.  It ended up being a very easy way to give the dog a bath – and turns out Chelsea doesn’t hate baths so much when you use warm water… go figure.

The peanut is also starting to enjoy actively participating in story time – especially with the shaggy ears in “That’s Not My Puppy”.  But don’t be confused – that is NOT his puppy.  It’s ears are clearly too shaggy.
